Building on the success of Aesop’s first national Arts in Health Conference & Showcase in 2016, the event is back in 2018 in partnership with the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the College of Medicine.

The event will take place from 10am – 6pm on Thursday 19th April 2018 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Milton Court in London.

An event for health decision makers; the focus of the Conference is on how the arts can contribute to current health priorities.

Confirmed speakers include: Darcey Bussell CBEProfessor Gillian Leng NICE Deputy Chief Executive & Director of Health and Social Care, Professor Tim Kendall NHS England National Clinical Director for Mental Health, Dr Martin Vernon NHS England National Clinical Director for Older People and Noel Gordon, Chair at NHS Digital, NHS England Non-Executive Director & Board member.

The event will be facilitated by  Vivienne Parry OBE, writer, broadcaster, facilitator and board member of UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).

As well as the showcase, the day will include the world première of music involving care home residents and staff, strategy inspiration from health and arts leaders and the announcement of Aesop initiatives to help bring the arts into the health mainstream.
