Prescribe-arts showcases high quality, well-evidenced arts in health programmes.
Social Prescribing Link Workers, other health professionals and the general public can use the site to search for arts in health programmes by region, medical condition and also by the quality of evidence-based outcomes. This will enable them to confidently identify and refer people to high quality arts programmes that have health benefits.
Arts in health programmes can submit a free listing to raise awareness of their programme. A Community of Practice will be set up to support the development of arts and health programmes featured on the platform. It will focus on sharing best practice; enabling programmes to enhance their artistic content, provide stronger evidence, achieve greater impact and become more widely available.
